Certificate Course in Community Health

The Certificate Course in Community Health in association with NIOS is carried out at Ganesh Paramedical College will be a 1 year full-term course. The different subjects that the students would be exposed be during the tenure of the course our as follows:

• Human Anatomy and Physiology
• Health and Hygiene
• Our Body and Immune System
• Prevention of Common Diseases and Home Remedies
• Yoga and Health
• Management of Diseases through Yoga

The basic reasons of pursuing this course in India are to point out that there are still no fully developed medical facilities. Even if the number of doctors have increased in India, it is not enough to cater to our population density. The duration of the course us 1 year that you are eligible to apply for right after 10th standard. 

In today’s time, it is necessary to prepare the health work forces, who would ask you to assist, and provide the appropriate care/service to community in rural sectors, the hospitals, with nursing homes and the health clubs etc .As a result, there would be skilled personnel in the Certificate Course of Community Health, become trained with Vocational Training Programmes.

The different job opportunities that you are exposed to would prepare you to become assistant and healthcare worker in the nursing homes, health centre and in hospitals. The fees that you would be charged would be in accordance with the NIOS decision.
